Mountain breakfast above Mellau will be followed by a hike to the Holenke – the highest panoramic peak on the Kanisfluh. The hike will continue to the alpine inn on the Öberle for lunch and then downhill to Mellau for dessert.
The vouchers for your hike are available from Bregenzerwald Tourismus. If you order online, the vouchers will be sent by post after receipt of payment.
Tour: Mellau – Rossstelle – Kanisfluh – Edelweiß am Öberle – Rossstelle – Hotel Bären-Café Deli (walking time approx. 5 h)
Hiking distance: 12.9 km | Ascent: 806 metres in altitude | Descent: 823 metres in altitude | Walking time: around 5 hours | Total duration: around 8½ hours
Equipment: non-slip mountain-hiking boots, hiking sticks, water bottle, sun screen and protection from the rain
Please remember that the actual walking time is around four hours and that therefore you’ll require a good basic physical fitness. Please do not leave the marked trails for your own safety and to protect the sensitive natural area.
