50 events are scheduled including chamber concerts, recitals, piano concerts, lectures and master classes. Every year, this unique event plays host to outstanding artists and ensembles in the Angelika-Kauffmann Hall, a venue which features beautiful views over the meadows and mountains. A wide variety of artists will be showing their treasures in small but fine exhibition rooms in the town centre during the Schubertiade. Extended opened hours for restaurants and cafés. Special Schubertiade Festival buses depart from many villages, bringing guests to the concerts in Schwarzenberg.
Schubertiade Festival Shuttle Service
Thanks to the Schubertiade Festival Bus, guests can comfortably arrive to the events and back. Return journeys take place after the end of the first round of applause at the close of performances. Tickets are available from your hotel, in the local tourism office and directly in the bus. Prior registration is not necessary. Bus stops are chosen for their central locations and are usually close to numerous hotels and inns. Please speak with the receptionist at your hotel for info about the closest bus stop.
