From Andelsbuch a double chairlift carries skiers to the “Niedere” area at 1,715 meters. From Bezau, a cable car runs to the Baumgarten mountain station. Public buses run between the two areas, and are free of charge for ski pass holders. Skiers can choose from nine lifts and 15 kilometres of mostly easy slopes.
The view from “Niedere” is impressively beautiful. The panorama extends over Bregenzerwald and even as far as Lake Constance. With the right snow conditions, there are attractive powder snow slopes on the Andelsbuch side, and firn slopes on the Bezau side. There are many places to stop for refreshments in the ski area, from the panorama restaurant at the Baumgarten mountain station, to rustic huts.
